Police Arrogance

I'll start off by saying that I do not believe that all police/FBI/DEA are arrogant fools. In fact I believe that many are a shining example of the best type of person that an individual can be, and I believe that most of them are at least decent people. But one bad apple spoils the whole bunch.

In this video, a DEA (Federal drug enforcement) agent shoots himself in the leg. Even though there is an element of humor in this video, I find it more outraging than funny. Why THIS guy is teaching "gun safety" to kids is beyond me. But there is one thing that really gets me. Just before he shoots himself, he says "I am the only one in this room professional enough, that I know of, to carry this Glock .40." He then immediately shoots his own leg. Funny? A bit, but what business does the federal government (I'd be just as mad at a state government for this one) have teaching our kids that the only ones that should have guns is the government? I certainly don't want to trust my life to people like this. It's guys like this, and this type of arrogance, that "spoils the whole bunch."

Stay tuned for my analysis on the 2nd Amendment directly disputing this guy's claim that "[he] is the only one professional enough" to carry a gun, even if he hadn't shot himself. I'll do that by the end of the month.

Nothing much going on

It has been a while since I posted so I decided to post. So let's see... What's on my mind?

Bikes:
Arizona Honda is apparently allowing stunting in their parking lot. This is HUGE news for my stunt team as we have not had a place to stunt for about a year now. We should be getting back into it very soon.

Computers:
Fought with my computers all weekend. I finally got a copy of Windows XP for my desktop to hopefully fix a problem making it crash every time I used it. Didn't work, ends up the heatsink compound dried up and the CPU was overheating. I also got my laptop ready to send to the insurance company, almost 6 months since the wreck.

Guns:
I bought a Mini 14. It's a .223 semiautomatic. My first rifle. I haven't shot it yet. After I complete paying for it, I will save up a bit more, sell it, and buy an AR-15 clone.

Not much else going on. I just wanted to post something.
